Alesso & Dirty South – City Of Dreams

This song is so good it makes me wanna cry.

I was witness to when this song was introduced to the world, when Alesso dropped this at EDC – NY.

Keep an eye out folks because we’re going to be doing an entire segment on Alesso in this space. Why? Because he is the best in the business right now. Everything he touches turns to gold.

This poor quality video will have to suffice while we wait for the official release of this track:

Sander van Doorn feat Mayaeni – Nothing Inside

How lovely are these vocals?

I don’t see it in your eyes
Just a cold blank stare
And no one’s asking why
Why you don’t seem to care
We’ve lost our way, lost our way
Maybe we’ve run out of time
Driving ourselves out of our minds
Maybe we’re missing the signs
All of our dreams making us blind
Baby we’re leaving behind
Nothing to see, nothing inside
We’re out of our minds with nothing inside

Morgan Page, Sultan + Ned Shepard & BT – In The Air

The second the xylophone (yes, xylophone!) drops you know that Morgan Page is on to something special here. This track is an exhilarating journey, with equal parts magic and bass.

In Page’s words “In The Air” is about capturing the excitement of being in the moment.

This breathtaking track, with haunting vocals, is a must have for your music library.

Who is better live? Avicii or Kaskade?

The team has an important decision to make in two weeks — do we see Avicii @ Revel Casino in Atlantic City or Kaskade in Brooklyn at the Waterfront MCU Park?

Both are obviously at the top of their games, but having recently seen Avicii at EDC NY and Kaskade at UMF Miami, it appears to be a complete toss up.

Personally, I feel that Avicii has the better set list and catalog, but Kaskade brings more energy to the stage.

What are your thoughts?
